Inspiration for your road to the altar

Do you watch Project Runway? Its by far one of my favorite shows and this past season, Carol Hannah was one of my favorite designers. I thought she deserved to win regardless, but after that poor girl suffered through fashion week, she deserved a medal! So last week I was really excited when I was browsing through my reader and came upon a post on Lucky Me, with a link to Carol Hannah’s Etsy Store. Her designs are so down to earth and wearable, I just love everything she creates. And if that weren’t enough, she also has a preview of her wedding collection! Absolutely adorable bridesmaid options and gorgeous bridal gowns. I can’t wait to see the entire line! (P.S. She also has a blog, which is completely charming)

Once again, jcrew has some beautiful new bridal and bridesmaid dresses. I am loving the belt on the upper left dress and the flower on the one below!

And these bridesmaids dresses are beyond adorable. Isn’t the patterned one lovely?

I absolutely love these dresses from Swoon! Designer Amy Wong Micucci set out to create a line of bridesmaid dresses that didn’t feel like the standards we’re all so used to seeing, and she definitely succeeded. And the best part? All of the dresses are under $300, with most in the $250 range (and several under $200). They’re affordable and beautiful, and certainly something that can be worn after the wedding. Bridesmaid or not, I would certainly wear any of these to a wedding!
