Merry Married Holidays
January 8, 2009
I couldn’t resist sending out a Christmas card with our wedding picture on it this year, and also couldn’t pass up a perfect opportunity to use some more green. Green just works with the holidays, right? Plus, we didn’t use any wedding pics in the thank you cards we sent out so I figured there might be a few people who haven’t seen them yet. I apologize for the bad pictures, I took them quickly but wanted to share the card with all of you. I quickly designed them myself and then ordered them online to avoid the hassle of printing. Here is a digital close-up of the picture:
And no, we don’t have all our pics yet, this was just one of the previews! Did any of you use your wedding pics in Christmas cards?

I love this design – what software did you use to design it?
I used Adobe Illustrator to design the cards. Thanks for the compliment!
I love the design!! It looks perfect with a black and white photo.
Looks great, Darci! We used a few of our Browers previews on our Christmas cards too! Are you getting as anxious as I am for proofs?
I adore them, great job. We used an engagement and a wedding pic for our cards this years.
They turned out fabulous! Happy Holidays!
i’m just learning to use illustrator…and i’m not that great…and the frame/border you created is what i’m trying to do! gonna incorporate that into my wedding invitations…would you be willing to share the design? just thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask. it’s a beautiful card!!
Reese – send me an email and we can discuss!
reese.h@gmail.com – thanks darci! please get in touch when you have a chance. i appreciate it!!
i am willing to pay for your work!
Fabulous work, Darci! The quadruple parentheses thingies are my favorite [hence why they were on my cards this year, and also my logo for my business].
