Inspiration for your road to the altar

I will always have a soft spot for including beloved pets in a wedding, and this adorable pooch has to be one of the cutest I’ve seen!  Don’t you love his floral collar? His name is Jack, and he was the ring bearer for his parent’s destination wedding in Asheville, NC. The image of him holding his head up for a little love during the ceremony is just too sweet!  Our little Lola joined us for pictures before our wedding (and sported a pearl collar, which you can see here) but was unfortunately not well behaved enough to join us for the actual ceremony.  I think she could have used some pointers from Jack!

I love a bold color choice when it comes to bridesmaids dresses, and this bright yellow is no exception!  The bride’s ruffled collar bolero also adds such a fun vibe to the look of her dress.  This is certainly a wedding with no shortage of ruffles!

Sponsor Welcome!

May 20, 2012

First of all, a huge thank you to everyone for all the kind words about the new site! I am so happy to have you reading along and am excited for what is to come.  I want to take a few moments to welcome some fabulous sponsors to the blog (most of which have been with the blog for quite some time).  I am grateful to have their support and hope you will all check them out over on the right sidebar.

Novell Design Studio: If you’re looking for almost any sort of jewelry (but especially men’s and women’s wedding bands) be sure to check out Novell.  You can find so many different designs in several types of metals, and even customize your own made to order bands.

Wedding Futures: When my husband and I got married, we had already been living together for a couple of years so had a lot of the things you would typically register for.  If you’re in the same boat, Wedding Futures is a great alternative that allows you to start out with something you might need even more than new dishes – a down payment on a house, or even savings for your future family!

Anjolee: If you’re in need of any fine jewelery (earrings or other diamond jewelry to go with that gorgeous dress, perhaps) then Anjolee is a one stop shop.  You can find some lovely wedding sets, necklaces and pendants, and wedding ring sets all on their website.  Use the code listed on their ad to the right for a discount as well!

Gems by Emily M: I just adore Emily’s personalized jewelry – they would make perfect bridesmaids gifts or even a gift for a shower hostess.  She has a few Father’s Day options in the shop right now (a guitar pick for the musician in your life) so be sure to check out her Etsy store!
