Inspiration for your road to the altar

Not only is the color palette for Jandee & Shane’s Colorado wedding gorgeous, I love the relaxed vibe felt in all their photos. The relaxed vibe is even more impressive because if any bride and groom had a reason to be extra stressed it was these two – they packed up and moved to Germany the week after their wedding! Jandee rocked her tea length dress and the contrasts of plum and yellow throughout the day really added to the overall atmosphere. And don’t you just love the boutonnieres? I think my gold hues are looking a little more yellow, but you get the idea! I am not sure the idea of macaroons at a wedding will ever get old for me, and I throwing some edible gold leaf into the mix seems like an added bonus. {Image from Martha Stewart Weddings}

Saskia and Sohail are from Washington DC, but decided to have a destination wedding this Fall in Charleston, SC. Their families traveled from as far as Europe and Persia so there were several vibrant cultural traditions tied into the low country nuptials. I love the colorful saturation of all the images, and that cake looks divine!
