Inspiration for your road to the altar

Cam and Tom were married in beautiful New Orleans, in a Buddhist-Vietnamese at the Chua Bo De Temple. The couple were traditional attire for the wedding ceremony and then the bride changed into a Vera Wang dress and Christian Louboutin shoes for the reception. All of the decor and the florals were DIY projects completed by the bride – she clearly did a wonderful job! The team at Gresham Photography is behind all the beautiful images you see, and you can find many more on their blog.

It’s officially Fall (Does it feel like where you are? Because it certainly doesn’t here)! I was excited when Sara France sent along Reiley and Scott’s lovely outdoor wedding, because it is the perfect seasonal inspiration. They opted for an autumnal color palette of red and orange, and held both the ceremony and reception outdoors. Vintage suitcases and postcards served as a focal point of the reception and were also used as escort cards. I love the glass vessels holding notes for the couple, and the chocolate tiered cake looks delicious!

Kelsey and Ryan were married in July, celebrating with an adorable DIY wedding in Virginia. I love the preppy blue and red color palette – aren’t the variety of red bridesmaids shoes below fabulous? The couple was wed in an outdoor ceremony and the mother of the bride pulled together much of the DIY decor. At the reception there was a Polaroid Photobooth, where guests wrote advice for the bride and groom in the lovely white space at the bottom of the pics. Such fun and festive nuptials!
