I am happy to announce a new sponsor on the blog, PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com! Josie Daga started the site in 2004 when she was unsuccessful in trying to sell her own wedding dress. In her own words, Josie said she was standing in her kitchen when she looked at her husband and said, “If there is no good way to do this, I’m going to make one.” You have to appreciate a woman with ambition!

Just a few years later, the site has over 1,800 gowns listed from over 110 designers (including the big ones – Vera Wang, Carolina Herrera, Monique Lhuillier, etc). Any sold gowns are promptly removed after 14 days (and are clearly marked as sold), so you don’t have to worry about falling in love with a gown you can’t have. You can search for gowns by almost any criteria – designer, keyword, size, dress length (important for a gown that may have been hemmed), location, neckline, silhouette, price break. The possibilities are endless! And maybe one of the best parts, the majority of their gowns are in the $500-$1,000 price range.

PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com also has a blog and they are currently running a contest where you can win a $1,500 wedding dress. Read about the details of the contest here and enter to win right here. (Oh, and the adorable dress pictured above is one I pulled from the site. It’s a Carolina Herrera and you can find it right here). Thanks so much, Josie and welcome to the blog!
